Clubs & Competitions

Connections Beyond the Classroom

At Southside Christian School, clubs and competitions are more than activities—they’re opportunities for students to explore their interests, try new things, and honor God through creativity, curiosity, and growth

Our students enjoy a variety of clubs and activities each year—offerings may change, making every year unique.

Grades 1–8
Offered through the Inland Chess Academy, this club teaches strategy and logic in a fun, structured setting. Sessions are held after school, and a fee applies.

Grades 1–8
Students explore new materials and artistic styles in a supportive, creative environment. Art Club sessions offer hands-on projects and an outlet for self-expression. Fees apply.

Grades 1–8
Students rehearse and perform in seasonal productions that encourage public speaking, creativity, and collaboration. Drama Club fosters storytelling and confidence on stage.

Grades K–8
Combining robotics, design, and teamwork, Lego League students solve real-world challenges and present their projects in regional competitions. Our 2019 team advanced to the State Finals!

Grades 5–8
This student-led business club empowers young entrepreneurs to develop, produce, and sell real products. Students learn marketing, finance, operations, and leadership while running a business that benefits the school.

We’d love to welcome your family to Southside Christian School. At Southside, clubs and competitions give students the opportunity to discover their passions, develop leadership skills, and grow in confidence as they learn, create, and compete together.
