Emergency Procedures
Fire Drills
The school holds a fire drill on a monthly basis. Your student’s teacher has been instructed in procedures for these fire drills as well as what to do in a real emergency.
Evacuation of the Building
Should the school need to evacuate the building teachers have been instructed to take your student across the street to Sterling Savings Bank. Your student will remain at the bank until it is safe to return to school or until you are notified and able to pick up your student.
Evacuation of the Classrooms if there is an Outside Threat:
Teachers will lead your student out of the classroom to Manito Presbyterian Church’s Fellowship Hall, in the basement of the church building. The students would remain there until the threat is removed.
